Named after “The Human Abstract” by William Blake, Human Abstracts is a blog I wrote from 2016–2019 illuminating my journey as an MA then doctoral student in long eighteenth-century literary and cultural studies, including lesson plans I developed, at Wayne State University in Detroit. I stopped blogging essentially when completing my qualifying exams.
